The Trust is involved with a number of partnerships dealing with all aspects of Geoconservation, Earth Heritage and conservation & green issues in general. The two main partnerships we are involved in are the The Abberley and Malvern Hills Geopark, and the The Geology Trusts.

The Trust was instrumental in getting 1250 sq. km of the Abberley and Malvern Hills designated as an European Geopark. The AMHG is now run by 14 partners with the Trust acting as Secretariat.   more »

Formerly known as the Western Association of UK RIGS groups, H&W Earth Heritage Trust was a founding member of the partnership. The GT aims to strength links and collaboration between organisations involved in Earth Heritage conservation.

Herefordshire Partnership was established in 2000 and comprises public, private, community and voluntary organisations committed to making a difference in the quality of life for people who live and work in the county. The Trust acts as an advisor to the partnership on geodiversity in Herefordshire.

The Trust is involved in the Herefordshire Biodiversity Action Plan.The Trust provides advice on the geology and landscape of Herefordshire and how this relates to local biodiversity.

The WP brings together local government, public services such as health, learning providers, police and probation, voluntary and community organisations and local businesses within Worcestershire to tackle issues facing county residents now and in the future. The Trust has been involved in the Worcestershire Biodiversity Partnership since 2006 as a member of the core steering group.

The Trust has been involved in establishing the Cotswold Hills Geopark, providing advice on defining the park's boundary. A small part of Worcestershire, around Fish Hill and Broadway Quarry, is located within this Geopark.

The Trust is a member of the Joint Advisory COmmittee for the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, helping to conserve and enhance the special qualities of the Malvern Hills.

The Trust has been involved in the partnership from the beginning as it seeks to make a positive contribution to the enrichment of the West Midlands environment and quality of life by conserving, enhancing and managing the region’s diverse geological heritage for the benefit of all.
