River Landscape Discovery Guide for Frome Valley

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust (EHT) with funding from LEADER+ has produced a Discovery Guide for the Frome valley, in a yearlong project. This describes the geology, beautiful landscape and effects of the ice age to be seen along the river.

As well as geological information, the guide includes:
Photographs, maps, diagrams, pictures and details of places to stay.

The Discovery Guide will be made available for local communities along the Frome valley and distributed to schools, libraries, museums, community centres and Tourist Information Centres. No prior knowledge of geology is necessary to use this guide.

Talks and guided walks were organised as part the project and 8 Regionally Important Geological / Geomorphological Sites (RIGS) have been designated.
