Ice Age Exhibition Summer 2018

Ice Age exhibitions are being held in Worcester over the summer of 2018.  These are exhibitions celebrating over half a million years of the area’s prehistory, from the time our ancestors arrived until the end of the last Ice Age 12,000 years ago.

The H&W Earth Heritage Trust has worked with the Worcestershire Archaeology Service and Worcester City Museum on a project about the Ice Age in Worcestershire.  A substantial booklet about the deposits and archaeology is being printed and will be available to accompany two exhibitions which start at the weekend and run until late August. There is also a programme of events and lectures, the last of which will be given by Ian Fairchild of the Earth Heritage Trust at the Hive on 3rd September 2018.
